The problem it solves
Stale or contradictory docs make support bots cite the wrong answer.
Public docs can be locally correct and still feed an AI support bot the wrong refund window or menu path — especially when two pages disagree, or an old page still states a policy that changed. A docs bot does not read your help center the way a teammate does. It retrieves fragments. If two pages disagree, it may invent a third number.
Hosting a bot does not fix the source. The Async Report reads your public docs for exactly that — conflicting pages, stale policies, and buried conditions — and returns the findings filled in, with quotes from your own pages.
What is a docs contradiction? A docs contradiction is two public pages that state different facts for the same question — two refund windows, two plan limits, or an old policy page left live next to the current one. A stale page is a contradiction with time.
Page A“Refunds are accepted within 14 days of purchase.”
Page B“You have 30 days to request a refund.”
“You have 21 days to request a refund.”
Anonymized pattern — not a named customer story. 21 does not appear on either page. The model averaged the conflict. The Async Report quotes both pages side by side in top-contradictions.md and puts the pair on the freeze list — so retrieval has one number, not two.
The failure is usually in the source, not the model
- Contradictions. Page A says 14 days. Page B says 30. The bot answers 21 — a number that exists on neither page.
- Stale vs current policy. An old page still states last year’s terms next to the current one. Retrieval cannot tell which is canonical, so the bot may cite the stale one.
- Buried conditions. “Pro includes X if Y” buried in a feature line. Retrieval keeps X and loses Y.
- Missing FAQs. Buyers ask about SSO, refunds, seats, or cancel flow. Your docs never say. The bot fills the hole.
What this is — and is not
An async filled report, not the DIY ZIP. You send a public help-center URL. We return a scored contradiction pass: filled scorecard, top conflict pairs with quotes, a freeze list, and a 60-minute fix order.
Not included: same-day emergency audit, private KB access, bot hosting, or a guarantee the model stops inventing answers.
Quotes come only from fetched public pages. If you prefer to run the method yourself, the $39 Docs Contradiction Toolkit stays available as self-serve files.
What’s included
Filled deliverables for your public docs URL.
Everything below is filled in for your help center — not blanks. Delivered by email.
scorecard.filled.csvPass / Partial / Fail on core money/trust and contradiction dimensions for your public docs.
top-contradictions.md5–10 conflict pairs with quotes from your pages, and why each one breaks bots.
freeze-list.mdPages to freeze or single-source before you ship a bot — so retrieval cannot invent from the conflict.
next-60-min.mdAn ordered self-serve fix list you can work through immediately after the report.
